Not a long time ago
we were our own slaves.

So vulnerable, so full of shame
that they even cracked inside.

those two refugees who escaped
from their recent ghosts?
If we are free enough,

They say they don’t leave completely,
That there’s always

Look at them how lucky they
are for having nothing to fear ever.
Ever.
Not a long time ago,
we didn’t have this sun.
I’m not yet ready for the calm.
Sometimes it looks like a bad joke.
At least we know
there’s something beyond
